Product List
Competitive humidity/temperature sensors often use the term “accuracy” in their product data sheet, typically excluding hysteresis and temperature, or the specification may be calculated over a narrow range, at one point in the range, or at their best accuracy level. Errors may also be listed individually. When all of the components of sources of error on product sensor accuracy are included, total error (or what would be the Total Error Band) can be significant. In the example shown on this slide, when all of the individual errors are added together, the competitor’s total error is ±6.2 %RH. Their percent accuracy tolerance may often be wider and worse than Honeywell’s Total Error Band accuracy.
