PowerStor Supercapacitors
The PowerStor famliy of supercapacitors offers ultra-low resistance supercapacitors, unique high-energy storage devices
Eaton PowerStor supercapacitors are unique, ultra-high capacitance devices utilizing electrochemical double layer capacitor (EDLC) construction combined with new, high performance materials. This combination of advanced technologies allows Eaton to offer a wide variety of capacitor solutions tailored to specific applications that range from a few micro-amps for several days to several amps for milliseconds.
The PowerStor KR Series combines a voltage rating of 5.5 V with high capacitance by volume resulting in high energy density levels in excess of 10 Joules/cm³. This high-energy storage capability combined with more than 10 years of operating life makes the KR Series the ideal choice for many consumer, office and telecom equipment applications.

The PowerStor PM Series combines a voltage rating of 5.0 V with high capacitance, ultra-low ESR and low leakage current to make it ideal for battery and mains powered RF transmission applications. This series operates from as low as -40°C up to +85°C making it ideally suited to withstand the harsh environments found in industrial RF communication and pulse current applications. Optimized for minimum leakage current the PM Series presents only a minimal additional load and is ideal for battery powered pulse current applications.
