In summary, the LMP8480/81 family is ideal for high voltage, cost sensitive applications, but which also require accuracy. The up to 76 V of common mode voltage and supply voltage, allows the device to be powered directly from the node it is measuring, without the need for an additional regulator. The low input offset voltage provides high accuracy, without compromising the ability to measure faster signals accurately. The LMP8480/LMP8481 family measures uni-directional and bi-directional currents and is available in gains of 20, 50, 60, and 100 and both MSOP-8 and LLP-8 (future) packages.
