The AS5134 is especially targeted for high speed motor applications as it implements a fast ADC, which allows rotation speeds up to 82,000 rpm, and has short propagation delays as low as 20µs to keep the angle error small even at high speeds. Furthermore, this chip offers four different outputs simultaneously: serial absolute, 360 steps per revolution, absolute PWM, incremental with index, and UVW (programmable from one to six pole pairs). In addition, a multi-turn counter is also available as well as a low power mode and a magnetic field strength indicator.
