ADXL380 Low-Noise, Low-Power, Wide Bandwidth 3-Axis MEMS Accelerometer
Analog Devices low noise density 3-axis accelerometers support a wide bandwidth range and are ideal for high-vibration environments

The ADXL380 low noise density, low power, 3-axis accelerometer from Analog Devices has selectable measurement ranges to support ±4 g, ±8 g, and ±16 g. This accelerometer enables precision applications with minimal calibration, and the low noise density and low power features enable accurate measurements of audio signals or heart sounds, even in high-vibration environments. The ADXL380 has many additional features to enable true system-level performance, including a built-in micropower temperature sensor, single-tap, double-tap, and triple-tap detection, and a state machine to prevent false triggering. It also has provisions for external control of the sampling time and/or an external clock. The ADXL380 operates on a wide 2.25 V to 3.6 V supply range (or 1.8 V supply) and if necessary, it can interface to a host operating on a separate supply voltage. The ADXL380 is available in a 14-terminal 2.9 mm x 2.8 mm x 0.87 mm LGA package.
