MCP62x and MCP65x, Op Amps with mCal The MCP62x and MCP65x families of 20 MHz and 50 MHz operational amplifiers are fabricated using Microchip Technology's low power CMOS technology. In addition to the mCal technology, which minimizes input offset voltage, these two families of amplifiers offer high output drive and rail-to-rail output swing.

mCal is an on-board calibration circuit that corrects the input offset error of the amplifier. This circuitry consists of an A/D converter, a reference, and an output DAC that feeds an offset correction factor back into the amplifier. This calibration occurs during power-up or is based on the state of the calibration pin. This calibration circuitry enables low initial offset voltage and a way to minimize drift over time and temperature.
