The EM2130 is part of the EM21xx family of digital core power SoC’s. The EM21xx family offers footprint compatible, scalable solutions that range from 20 A to 40 A output current. This offers system level designers maximum flexibility in their designs and avoids a costly PCB re-spin if output current requirements change throughout the design cycle. In addition to the EM2130; 20 A and 40 A footprint compatible options are readily available. If less than the 30 A is needed, the EM2120 provides 20 A of continuous output current and can provide V_OUT in the range of 0.7 V to 5 V. If more than 30 A is needed the EM2140 provides 40 A of continuous output current and can provide V_OUT in the range of 0.5 V to 1.325 V.
