The surge duration capability of the TCS™ device is well beyond the waveform durations of all of the transient surge standards. For the TCS-DL004-250-WH, the maximum duration at 25°C with 20 V across the device is just over 100 mS. The maximum duration at 85°C with 40 V (max. rated voltage) across the device is  about 7 mS. A 10/100 µs surge will not present a problem within rated limits. Surge current duration graphs are provided for all of the devices in the TCS™ product data sheet.
