Image of Fairchild's FAN3111 / FAN3121 / FAN3122 onsemi expands its family of high-speed, low-side gate drivers with the addition of the single 1 A and 9 A drivers. These drivers enable higher density, higher efficiency and more reliable power supplies. With the addition of single 1 A and 9 A drivers to the previously released single 2 A, dual 2 A, and dual 4 A drivers, this family now offers superior performance, size and design flexibility for switch-mode power-supply (SMPS) designs, synchronous rectifiers, pulse transformer drivers and motor control circuits.

The FAN3111 series provides a strong 1 A gate drive in a small five-pin SOT-23 package and is designed to drive an N-channel enhancement-mode MOSFET in low-side switching applications.

The FAN3121/22 9 A driver series provides solutions for driving large loads with over 10 A of peak gate drive current. These drivers are designed to drive N-channel enhancement MOSFETs in low-side switching applications by providing high peak current pulses.
