Silicon Labs offers their WF200 Wi-Fi transceiver IC, which is ideal for all secure, low-power, and IoT Wi-Fi needs. The Wi-Fi transceiver contains a 2.4 GHz radio that is optimized for ultra-low power and optimal RF performance in crowded RF environments. This transceiver supports both Linux-based hosts and RTOS-based hosts to deliver a complete Wi-Fi solution. High-speed SPI and secure digital input-output host interfaces provide flexibility throughout. It includes end-to-end security with hardware-protected secure boot and an encrypted secure link interface to ensure that communication between the host processor and the WF200 are always protected to secure a user's data, SSID, and passwords.
