Recom presents their RPX-2.5 series of DC-to-DC buck converters. Offered in a tiny 4.5 by 4 by 2 millimeter thermally-enhanced QFN package, this 12.5-watt power module includes an integrated shielded inductor. It features an input range from 4.5 to 28 volts-DC, and its output voltage be adjusted with two resistors in the range from 1.2 volts up to 6 volts. The 2.5-amp output current is fully protected against short-circuit, overcurrent and over-temperature faults. It offers an efficiency rating of up to 91 percent, has an operating temperature range from minus 40 degrees Celsius to 85 degrees Celsius, and it is Class B EMC compliant with international safety certifications. Ideal applications include industrial controls, industrial IoT, and those with microprocessors and microcontrollers.
