Omron B5T Series | DigiKey Daily

Omron offers their B5T series of Human Vision Components, or HVC, with ten different image sensing functions for human and face recognition in an easy-to-mount and compact module. The Omron B5T series integrates Omron's best-in-class image sensing technology, OKAO Vision, along with a camera, processor, and external interface. Depending on specific application purposes, two camera head types are available: a long-distance detection type and a wide-angle detection type. This B5T series is ideal for applications such as human sensing, human recognition, face detection, body detection, age estimation, gender estimation, and gaze detection. Ideal end markets include digital signage, building automation, office automation, and facial and human recognition systems. Evaluation software and sample code are available to the public.
