NXP’s i.MX RT series of crossover processors are designed to support next-generation IoT applications. The i.MX RT devices are based on Arm® Cortex®-M7 cores and offer the best of both worlds – a high level of integration and security balanced with MCU-level usability at an affordable price. Crossover processing helps MCU customers move up to applications processor-level of performance while staying within their current tool chain. The i.MX RT devices offer a real-time, low latency response with the largest Tightly Coupled Memory at 512KB. Low dynamic power consumption is enabled with integrated DC-to-DC converters and efficient power gating. Extensive external memory interfaces offer greater design flexibility while a comprehensive multimedia platform allows customers to design advanced GUIs and HMIs.
