This innovative RFID module employs the metal surface, to which it’s attached, as a booster antenna for increasing the read range. With its durable construction, a wide operating temperature range—from minus 40 degrees Celsius to 85 degrees Celsius, and designed to operate over the entire UHF band, this RFID tag achieves high performance when attached to metal surfaces. Measuring only 6 millimeters by 2 millimeters by 2.3 millimeters, this IC can be used as an ultra small tag for tracking and tracing metal items. Typical applications include surgical tools, industrial tools, metal assets, consumer items, and more.
