Analog Devices' MAXM17532 and MAXM15462 Himalaya uSLIC™ power modules combine industry-best switching regulators with the size and simplicity of an LDO. The micro system-level IC modules integrate the controller, MOSFETs, inductor, compensation components, and additional functions in a 2.6 x 3 x 1.5 mm package. Himalaya uSLIC power modules accept an input from 4.0 V to 42 V and are available with an adjustable output from 0.9 V to 5.5 V at up to 300 mA, and offer various conversion modes and low shutdown current to maximize efficiency. The modules include protection features and comply with mechanical and EMI standards, allowing designers to meet space-constrained, high performance power design requirements.
