Harwin’s Datamate T-Contact female power contacts support up to 8.5 A per contact for increased current capacity in 2 mm pitch systems for space-constrained, high reliability applications with increasing power requirements, such as avionics, defense, industrial, and transportation. The T-contact utilizes a patented, 6-finger design to improve resistance to shock and vibration. The contact is machined from a single piece of beryllium copper with heavy gold plating to meet US military and avionics requirements. T-contacts are rated for 1000 mating cycles and offer 60% more contact wipe for improved contact self-cleaning to ensure long, reliable operation. Harwin offers dual row J-Tek housings with 4 to 50 positions, and T-contacts are also compatible with Mix-Tek and L-Tek housings.
