Banner Engineering – K50R Radar Sensor | Datasheet Preview

The Banner engineering K50R series of radar sensors are designed for robust object detection. These radar sensors operate at a frequency of 60 gigahertz to detect a greater diversity of materials than 24 gigahertz radar sensors, while providing better ambient weather resistance than 122 gigahertz sensors. The K50R has a wide-angle 80 by 60 degree beam pattern and a 3.0-meter range with a short dead zone of 0.1 meters. Performance modes to customize the sensor to the application, the standard version includes three LEDs and dual discrete outputs for presence and absence detection while the pro version includes eight programmable RGB LEDs to customize the indication for the application. The K50R radar sensor comes with PC GUI or remote teach configuration options and comes in a flush-mount design for easy installation on flat surfaces. This sensor is ideal for vehicle-detection applications and features reliable performance in outdoor conditions.
