Analog Devices ADMV8818 Digitally Tunable Filter | Datasheet Preview

This monolithic microwave integrated circuit has 4 independently controlled high and low pass filters that span the 2GHz to 18GHz frequency range. All 8 filters can be programed through software using a 4-wire serial port interface. Each filter’s controller is 4 bits wide, providing 16 states for adjusting their 3 dB cutoff frequencies which generate up to 4 GHz of bandwidth. Its use of digital switched capacitors provides improved filter linearity and frequency response compared to other varactor-based solutions. The typical insertion loss is 9 dB and the wideband rejection is 35 dB, which minimizes system harmonics. Applications include Aerospace, defense, and any instrumentation that requires flexibility in a compact form factor.
