DDR3 DRAM with ECC

Error Correcting Code, or ECC is important. There are a diverse number of applications for electronics today, but the segments of Automotive, Industrial, Medical, and Communications are distinguished from the Consumer segment, in several ways. Perhaps most crucial, these applications are expected to continue to work without failing or being out of service for years. In these segments, failures can be very costly and disruptive. This presentation will focus on errors that can occur in memory components, in particular DDR3 DRAMs.
